I hope everyone who attended enjoyed it as much as I did. I appreciate that GCEA begins the conference by honoring our recently deceased with a memorial service and then, gets everybody together for a fun social gathering during the President’s Reception – friends and food, what else could anybody want.
Each day began at The Branson Grand Plaza with breakfast and a Keynote: Daniel Dejan spoke on the Neuroscience of Touch, Johnny Shell spoke on the State of the Specialty Graphics industry, and Trish Witkowski spoke on the Importance of a Professional Design Process. After the keynote, it was off to College of the Ozarks for workshops, breakout sessions and more food.
A special heartfelt thanks to all the presenters. Regretfully, I was unable to attend an entire presentation, only pieces here and there. I say regretfully because the portions I did get to attend made me regret not getting to participate in the entire session. I think the presentations represented a cross-section of current industry topics beneficial for all GC educators. I always enjoy the Annual Conferences and, mainly because of the sessions, come home enthusiastic for the upcoming year. My hope for each participant is, you enjoyed the conference and came enthusiastic for the upcoming year.
Again, thank you,
